This letter is in response to your submission of applicable forms requesting authorization to
construct an 8' x 22' extension to the existing pier and docking facility located at 159 Atkinson
Road, Surf City, NC. Our records indicate your request was received on May 2, 2019, and
included check No. 2448, in the amount of $200.
At this time, the Division is unable to process your request under a CAMA General Permit.
Should you wish to proceed with your proposal, you will need to submit a CAMA Major
development permit application. This decision was based on conditions contained in the original
CAMA permit (No. 39-09) for the subdivision. Specifically, Condition No. 9 (a) which states:
"Only one boat slipper lot in this subdivision". Please contact me at 910-796-7221, if you have
any questions, or if I can provide any additional information.
I am returning the applicable forms and check, as received on May 2, 2019.
