Hi Amanda,
Please see my statement below about my of objection to the bulkhead project on 114
Chestnut Dr. in Beaufort.
As an adjacent property owner, I object to the bulkhead proposed for 114 Chestnut Dr.
in Beaufort, NC. I would prefer to see a nature -based solution for the erosion problem
on the property, and would encourage the homeowners to research alternatives. I
believe the implementation of a hard structure, such as a bulkhead, on that property will
eventually increase flooding issues in my yard, and other neighboring properties.
