Please find attached a proposal by 35th Street Professional Center, LLC to construct an Oyster Shell Bag
Marsh Toe Revetment at their property off of Gales Shore Circle adjacent to Camp Albemarle. The total
length of marsh toll revetment proposed is 380 linear feet. We plan to install the shoreline in early 2020.

Project Description
The location of the proposed oyster shell
bag marsh toe revetment at the property
shown to the left is shown in the photograph
below (yellow line). The total length of the
marsh toe revetment will be approximately
380 linear feet. The plan is to connect to the
existing marsh toe revetment built at Camp
Albemarle
The marsh toe revetment will be constructed
by layering oyster shell bags perpendicular
to the shoreline, no more than 6 feet
waterward of the erosion escarpment and no
higher than 6 inches from the elevation of
the existing marsh substrate. Coir fiber/jute
matting will be used for the bottom layer of
the marsh toe revetment.

Project Description

total length of the marsh toe revetment will be approximately 380 linear feet. The plan is to
connect to the existing marsh toe revetment built at Camp Albemarle
The marsh toe revetment will be constructed by layering oyster shell bags perpendicular to
