This request for a general permit is for a proposed dredge to the area adjoining the existing boat ramp (Straits Landing BAA / 1648 Harkers Island Road, Straits, NC) and existing channel out to the intercoastal waterway. Attached with this application are the following items: • Dredge Plan • Notification Documentation indicating adjacent property owners were notified (or attempts) • Receipt for Transfer of Funds ($400 Application Fee) Dredging will take place within the limits of the previously approved major permit and will involve less than 1,000 cubic yards of dredge material being removed.
