TROGDON, III GOVERNOR SECRETARY October 14, 2019 Mr. Stephen Lane Coastal Management Representative, Transportation Projects Division of Coastal Management 400 Commerce Ave. Morehead City, NC 28557 Subject: Renewal Request for General Permit No. 74499-D for Bulkhead Construction / Repairs WBS number: 3.201011 Dear Mr. Lane: The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is requesting a renewal for CAMA General Permit No. 74499-D which was issued for the installation of approximately 63' of new vinyl sheet piling to stabilize the shoreline within the R/W at the end of SR 11 15 Stone Chimney Road SW. The permit recently expired on October 12, 2019. Due to budgetary constraints the project was delayed and is now proposed to start prior to be completed by the end of January, 2020. The scope of the proposed work has not changed and no modifications are being proposed at this time. Please find attached a copy of the original CAMA General Pennit. The department anticipates that a renewal fee of$400.00 will be charged to the subject WBS element number. Please let me know if I can provide any further information.
