This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Dear Madam,
I recently purchased the home at 4220 Poor Ridge Rd. Kitty Hawk, NC, and am
planning to repair the existing dock which is in very bad shape. I have enclosed a
picture of the property and the location of the existing dock in the Southwest
corner of the property.
I just plan to replace posts and decking, and the Planned size is 6' x 8'. 1 am
required to notify you since you have riparian ownership of the water adjacent to
my riparian water rights.
I am also planning an 18-inch-high landscape wall approximately 30 feet back
from the water line in my back yard. I am required to inform you of planned work
as part of obtaining my permits.
Please see attached LAMA form for details and attached drawing of planned
work.
