These are in connection with property owned by Charles Tara. My wife and I are owners of the adjoining property to the north of this tract, at 4700 San Juan Circle, Morehead City. My telephone call a week ago to the agent listed on the form has not been returned. I have one conditional objection to this project. If the contractor or persons performing the work on this project will be crossing our property in order to gain access to the waterline area (other than the street right of way), I must object to this project. If the contractor and persons performing the work will be gaining access to the waterline only through the street right of way and the Tara's property, I have no objection to the project. Our yard is very soft and will not support vehicles and equipment. We have underground water and electric lines running from our residence to our pier, which would be subject to damage from equipment due to the soft, wet soil. I respectfully ask that approval of the permit request be conditioned on the contractor and personnel performing this work gaining access to the waterline solely through the owner's property and not across adjoining property.
