Notes:
1. All timber shall be marine grade southern pine
preservative treated to AWPA standards C-2 and C-
18.
2. Splice whalers with 12" horizontal notches and
two (2) 5/8" thru bolts.
3. Sheet Piling Shoreguard - SG 425, Everlast 4. 1,
or equal.
4. All fasteners shall be hot dipped galvanized per
ASTM A-153 (20oz psf) or bitumastic coated or 300
series stainless steel.
5. Wall length: approx. 110' plus a 15' turnback at
south end. Wall exposure height not to exceed 6'.
When exposure height is less than 5' two whalers
required, when less than 3' one whaler required.
