DESCRIPTION - REVISED
We propose to install a new concrete pier consisting of a 5' wide x 350' long
walkway connecting to a 13' wide x 30' long platform. There will be a 5' wide x
40' long Ell shaped finger pier on the left side of the walkway. There will be a 5'
wide x 30' long finger pier on the right side of the walkway.
We propose to install two (2) new boat lifts. This will also include the installation
of four (4) new 10" x 30' long pilings for each lift.
We propose to move an existing boat lift and pilings on the right side of dock.

j I THIS JOINT PIER AGREEMENT AND ACCESS EASEMENT, made and entered into
this 15 day of February, 2019 by and between Charles C. Jones, III and Stephen B. Jones,
hereinafter "Jones" and Benton Blalock and wife Ann Blalock, hereinafter `Blalock":
WITNESSETH
Whereas, Jones owns Lot 28 as shown on that certain neap entitled "Property of Daisy
Sanders Koonce Heirs, as recorded in Map Book 7, Page 94, Carteret County Registry; and
Whereas, Blalock owns the eastern one half of Lot 29 of the Daisy Sanders Koonce Heirs
property as shown on map recorded in Map Book 3, Page 159, Carteret County Registry; and
I
Whereas, the property owned by Jones and owned by Blalock adjoin each other; and
Whereas, there is a pier extending from Lot 28 into Rogue Sound that both parties have
used in the past and desire to continue to own and use jointly.
.NOW, THEREFORE, FOR CONSIDERATION PASSING TO EACH PARTY TO
THIS AGREEMENT, THE PARTIES DO HEREBY AGREE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Jones conveys to Blalock and their heirs and assigns a perpetual easement from
Lot 29 across Lot 28 as shown on Map Book 7, Page 94, Carteret County Registry to be used as
an ingress, egress and access easement from Lot 29 to the pier that extends from Lot 28 into
Hogue Sound, said easement to run along a corridor 20 feet wide and parallel to the southern
boundary of Lot 28.
