I'm looking to have my slip dredged to a depth of 6 feet in the very near future and in accordance with the requirements for a North Carolina CAMA (Coastal Area Management Act) permit, am required to notify you and ask for your written approval. Dredging would occur within the confines of my slip (20' long by 15' wide), and within my property lines, the approach to the slip from mid channel either side of the slip. Spoils would be removed and disposed of in accordance with LAMA requirements. Dredging activity would not infringe on your property in any way.
