Mr. Randy Beardsworth, 2431 Alford Landing Drive, Wilmington, NC 28409
As acting agent for Mr. Randy Beardsworth of 2431 Alford Landing Drive, I respectfully request
that you consider allowing the small 8'x 10' expansion to the existing 8' x 18'floating dock. As can be
seen in the attached drawing,the addition will not encroach any further into the creek channel, nor
either of the rapirian corridors. The mean low water depth where the addition would be attached is 2',
similar to that of the 8' x 18'float that exists. Mr. Beardsworth's intention for this request is to provide
greater stability to his floating dock by changing the float design from a straight float to an "L" shaped
float. This change in the float layout will not increase the number of boat slips, as he will again have
only two sides of the float available for a boat.
