Subject: RE: Culvert replacement at NC 101 at Beaufort
Hi Stephen, I tried the phone number, It is no longer a good phone number. There was a CAMA GP permit issued for this
project in the past; now expired, in which there was no response from the same property owner. NCDOT does not plan
to make any additional attempts to this contact this adjacent property owner other than the two failed certified mail
package attempts that were returned by the USPS (stamped as "undeliverable") after 30 days for each package. NCDOT
respectfully requests that the permit reapplication process be expedited and issued.

The only phone number that I could find for a Mr. Zakery T. Sherman in Ohio was (614) 524-1136. Please let me know if
you are able to reach him or not.
Thanks,

Subject: Culvert replacement at NC 101 at Beaufort
Hi Jay,
As per our conversation today, Mr. Zakery T. Sherman (one of the adjacent riparian owners) was mailed a notification
package but never received notification about the culvert replacement project located at approximately 50' south of SR
1170 on NC 101 in Carteret County. NCDOT may wish to resend the package to Mr. Sherman or pursue other means of
contacting him. I have been able to locate a phone number for a Mr. Zakery T. Sherman on the internet if you want to
try it, however, I am not sure if it is still valid or an older phone number. Please let me know if I may be of further
assistance.
Thanks,
Stephen
