There was a CAMA GP permit issued for this project in the past; now expired, in which there was no response from the same property owner. NCDOT does not plan to make any additional attempts to this contact this adjacent property owner other than the two failed certified mail package attempts that were returned by the USPS (stamped as "undeliverable") after 30 days for each package. NCDOT respectfully requests that the permit reapplication process be expedited and issued. Sherman (one of the adjacent riparian owners) was mailed a notification package but never received notification about the culvert replacement project located at approximately 50' south of SR 1170 on NC 101 in Carteret County. NCDOT may wish to resend the package to Mr. Sherman or pursue other means of contacting him. I have been able to locate a phone number for a Mr. Zakery T. Sherman on the internet if you want to try it, however, I am not sure if it is still valid or an older phone number. Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
