This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Later this week / early next week, Roy Brownlow (MHC District Manager) and Heather Styron (MHC
Field Rep) will be in touch and will send by courier a draft General Permit for an observation pier/crab
dock for my personal property in Morehead City. As described in my 2018 SEI (see #19, attached), to
avoid any perceived conflict of interest, we will ask that you sign the General Permit after you have had
the opportunity to review and discuss with staff. My authorized agent is Billy Brickhouse with Southern
Distinction Construction.

Hope this finds you doing well.
Please find attached a draft for Braxton Davis's CAMA General Permit for his property located at 1405 Marsh Pointe, Oyster
Cove subdivision in Morehead City, Carteret County.
This project proposes a 5' wide by 100' pier access with an 8' x 16' platform and a 3' x 16' stepdown for kayak launching.
This project is eligible for 800 square feet in platform area and 176 square feet is being proposed. There are no formalized
or constructed docking spaces authorized by this permit. Staff and I have determined that this proposed project meets the
criteria for permittable development and would be in compliance with the Coastal Resources Commission's rules and the
CAMA.
I will bring the original hard copy with me to the CRC meeting next week.
