Mr. Dail,
This email is to request a Permit to repair the dock at 309 Grandview Drive, Sneads Ferry, NC. I understand
from my mother-in-law, Ann Smith, that you need a drawing of the current dock with measurements and what
repairs need to be made in order to permit the work to be performed. I have attached a rough sketch of the
current dock along with pictures of the damage. John says the entire length of the walkway going out to the
dock needs to be replaced. It is the section that is 4 feet wide and approximately 64 feet long. He inspected
everything there this weekend and said that the Pylons and the cross ties appear to be in really good
shape. It's just the top that needs repair/replacement. Please let me know if you have any other questions, or
if you need additional information to process this request. I have listed below our ownership information if
you happen to need it.
