Dear Jason,
We are all exhausted from the cleanup from hurricane Florence, but are
that would have been so much worse.
At Old Ferry Marina we had some damage,that is of a safety issue, but nc 6,
thankfully.
Please find attached a rough outline of repairs that we would like your permission to complete.
The worst damage is near the entrance to the basin (labeled#32 in blue) all decking there is missing or unsafe.
We have many under walkway supports which need to be repaired or replaced as they were broken by wave action (and
age).
There are a few pilings that need to be replaced or have sister pilings added,which may be easier than removing old
pilings.
On attached drawing there are 6 red circles, where a sister piling will need to be added.
There are 3 solid red circles where we would like to add new pilings.
There are dashes along walkway between blue 26 and blue 31 that under walkway supports should be repaired or
replaced.
Red diagonals at blue 32 would be to repair decking and finger pier that is badly damaged.
