Please Find attached drawings for the emergency berm restoration at Topsail Beach. As with the Surf City Project, sand
that is collected from the road ROW and sieved will be used first, then augmented by sand hailed from the ST Wooten
mine on highway 421. Placement is 6 cubic yards per linear foot on average and with the new toe of dune not extending
past the previous toe of dune or the existing 5.0' NAVD88 contour, whichever is more limiting.
As you are aware,the area to place sieved sand by the Smith Street breach is already flagged in the field.
