Dear Mr. Trowell,
Per our phone conversation today about my proposed tie -piling project. I have attached three
documents, as requested —1) the riparian waiver form from the adjacent property owner (Martin) on
the south side of the dock where the pilings would be installed, 2) a riparian email notification
confirmation from the adjacent property owner (Warner) on the north side of the dock, stating no
objections, and 3) a graphic (below) showing a Google Maps photo of the property with the proposed
piling placements. I have also enclosed a check for $200.
As a reminder, and for clarification, the dock is not centered on our property; we aligned it favoring the
north side of the lot in anticipation of one day installing a slip on the south side. The first piling will align
with the end of the dock, and the second will align with the fourth piling on the dock, approximately 23'
apart. Both tie -pilings will be installed on the south side, 20 feet off the dock, as illustrated below.
Please let me know what my next steps are to secure a permit, and thank you for your time.

Hello Ann,
Hope you and your family enjoyed the holiday season. As you can see on the attached CAMA proposal, I'm applying for a
permit to install two tie -off pilings on the south side of our dock. The pilings will be located a few feet inside the setback
and as you can see, Kitty's mother has approved the request for the necessary waiver. These two pilings will not impact
your property at all, but CAMA as you know requires me to notify you anyway. Would you mind replying to this email
stating that you have no objections? That will save me 30 days of wait time instead of having to send a certified letter.
Thanks very much, and I hope you are somewhere warm. It's 22 degrees here right now and the seawalls are iced in!

P.S. Jackie and I confronted two teenage girls (dark hair) a couple days ago who helped themselves to the deck on your
house. They did not have a key and acted polite but nervous when we inquired. Not sure if they were friends or family;
they just said that they "do this all the time." We didn't press further and they left shortly after. Just thought I'd let you
know.
