Any violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian landowner(s) . The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program. I wanted to summarize our understanding following the discussion with Ty over the weekend. 1. Ty will provide a more accurate estimate for the length and price of the sea wall to be constructed. 2. This will be a "traditional" vinyl sea wall (not a Navy System). The sea wall would be constructed essentially as in the attached photographs from your website at $114/linear foot. 3. The vinyl panels used will be 8 foot Tidewall TW50, as specified here: http://tidewall.com/product/tw50.htm 4. The color will be the standard "light grey" 5. The bottom whaler will be 6"x6" 6. The top cap will be 2"x12" with a whaler right below it (as shown in the attached photographs) 7. Construction to begin on 18 June 2018. In addition to the above, we would like you to extend the sea wall to cross the existing dock and extend another 5 feet. We will remove the large pine that is currently beside the dock in preparation for the installation of the sea wall in this area.
