In regards to riprap: You will need to notify the Adjacent Riparian property owners with the attached form. The adjacent owners are: - John Howard Forbes Jr 5121 Northgreen Dr. Fuquay Varina, NC 27526 - David & Diane Pelkey 9530 Pine Shadow Dr Richmond, VA 23238 This permit will be issued to Currituck Crossing Property Owners Association, Inc. and there will be a permitting fee of $200 as well. I've attached the rules and use standards for both as well as an Agent Authorization form to give you permission to obtain the riprap permit on behalf of the Association. When you notify, make sure you provide a simple drawing that shows where the proposed development will be located on the property (i.e. distance from the property lines) as well as the dimensions of the structure (length/width). On the adjacent owner notification form, you will fill out the top portion (the agent section is if you will be having someone else sign the permit on your behalf, you can leave it blank) and the bottom left portion. You can either have the adjacent owners sign the form or send it to them via certified mail with the green card return receipt. If you send the notification form via certified mail, the green card will be signed and dated when delivered and returned to you. Ten days after the certified mail has been signed as received, I can issue a permit. If we don't hear from them we consider that no objection. At that point, give me a call and I will set up a time to meet you onsite where I will issue the permit once I have collected a permit fee, the notification paperwork and a copy of the drawing sent to the adjacent property owners.
