Hi Mr. Wade,
As long as all these measurements keep the wall out of the wetlands,then this will work. We will also use these
measurements for any future compliance visits. Since the permit is still active, I have modified it to reflect the updated
measurements. I have also copied Brooks Surgan, as he is the new field rep for that area of New Hanover County. I have
moved on to a new position with DCM. Any future permit questions can be directed to Brooks and he will be able to

I previously called and we discussed some of the dimensions locating the bulkhead relative to the corners of the units. I
think this is a result of the accuracy of the base drawing I used to roughly draw the proposed location. The dimensions
shown on the permit fall back up on the hill a couple of feet(except one that appears off by 6' at the bend in the
bulkhead). I do not believe this is the intent. Attached is a copy of the permit marked with dimensions in question. Also
attached is a picture at the 6' location showing a stake at 22' per the permit and a stake at 28' at the slope. Please take
a look at this and let me know what the options are to clarify this. Thanks,
