Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that I) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I spoke to my folks and they have decided against a jet ski lift, they want to get rid of the jetski. I would like to
be able to keep the 602 area as walkway and make the step down finger pier 3x24 please, which would put our
platform area at 252 square feet. Will that be ok.

I have completed the general permit for your proposed dock but I had to downsize some of the
development due to platform square footage limitations. The new dimensions are as follows and are
also noted on the permit.
The covered 15' x 12' platform remains the same, the 3' x 24' finger is now a 2' x 20' finger and the 6' x
32' finger platform is now a 6' x 30'. The maximum allowable square footage for your shoreline is 400sf.
In order to achieve no more than 400 sf I had to downsize the dimensions. I also used the 6' x 30' finger
at the end as platform, otherwise a jet -ski lift would not be able to be used because it must be stored
over platform and not pier access to not be considered a slip. If you need to change anything etc. please
let me know. The fee is 200 dollars and we take check or money order. I also wanted to mention the
max distance allowed, due to existing pier head length along the shoreline, is 199' from your existing
wall.
