Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null andvoid.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

further out than the neighboring ones - correct?

Good morning, John,
Please find attached the revised sketch for Fisherman's Park. The footprint is nearly identical, if not slightly smaller.
Originally, we kept the existing fixed dock the length it is now, then added a fixed turn around and a gangway out the
left to the floating dock. The revised concept is much simpler (not cheaper, unfortunately) and makes much more sense
for kayak use and ADA accessibility, in particular. There isn't any turning around necessary; folks can simply walk straight
ahead, then down the gangway to the floating dock. The design will almost mirror Jim's dock next door, so you will see a
marked aesthetic improvement. Working with Heather Styron at CAMA and she says that all she needs from you is an
email acknowledgement that you approve of the attached design. I'm in the office most of the day today, so please
don't hesitate to call if I can provide any additional clarification.
