The area that needs to be excavated is an area located nearly the same as we did last year, 200 feet by 60 feet, the average depth of excavation 2 feet or approximately 889 cubic yards. Without this dredging the boating access is rapidly becoming unusable. The disposal site we would use is a previous authorized site located on Atlantic Beach, commonly referred to as the Jungle Land site. All spoils material would be delivered by truck to the disposal site. A copy of the permit from last year project is included in this package.
