The area that needs to be excavated is an area near Channel Marker 5A, 175 feet by 50 feet, the average depth of excavation 3 feet or approximately 972 cubic yards. Without this dredging the boating access is rapidly becoming unusable. The disposal site we would use is a previous authorized site located on Atlantic Beach, commonly referred to as the Jungle Land site. All spoils material would be delivered by truck to the disposal site. A survey of the area to be dredged is included in this package.
