The area that needs to be excavated is 150 feet by 40 feet, the average depth of excavation 2 feet or approximately 445 cubic yards. Without this dredging the boating access is rapidly becoming unusable. The disposal site we would use is a previous authorized site located on Radio Island, commonly referred to as the Pake Construction site. All spoils material would be delivered by barge to the disposal site. The area to be dredged is the western reaches of the channel. It should be noted that this shoaling is almost identical to the projects we done for the last several years. If any additional information is required please do not hesitate to contact me.
