Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

#132-07. The permit modification requests to temporarily add floating docks to be used for
Downtown Morehead City Revitalization Association's Crystal Coast Boat Show on May 20 and 21,
,2017 .
In order to accommodate more boats in -water, we are seeking approval from NC Division of Coastal
Management (DCM), the Coast Guard and notifying adjacent property owners of our request to add
the temporary floating docks to the ten Morehead City docks in Jaycee Park for the Boat Show.
Provided DCM, US Coast Guard and adjacent property owner agree, we will install the temporary
docks on or about May 15, 2017 and remove them within 14 days.
DMCRA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and has event insurance that our insurance agent, Chalk
and Gibbs, will cover the event.

are not 60 inches wide but 80 inches instead. Can you please check with navigation to see if this is still ok? I have attached the

In talking with David Anderson, EZ Docks, he can only get docks that are 80" wide versus the original 60" wide we based the
schematic on.

We do not have an issue with temporary docks for events such as this. Please mimic the timeframes for temporary docks from the

boat Race that typically takes place in Sept/Oct timeframe in Morehead City. This should help keep us consistent from year to year
