Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Naviagion does not have an issue with this as long as they abide by the same rules as last year.
NO parts of floating structure encroaching in the channel.
NO pilings placed in Setback.
And must be removed by Oct 8th.
Usually this request comes through our regulatory department but the above is what we send them every year. thanks.

Subject: [EXTERNAL] Jacks Water Front Bar Temporary Dock
Hey Justin,
Every year Jacks Waterfront Bar ask to install temporary docks for a boat race and the Seafood Festival. I always let them
know that I must receive the navigation section approval before I can issue a permit. The setup is the same as the past
couple of years and they want to keep them in until after the seafood festival. The festival is October 2nd-4th. Do you
have any issues with this? I have attached the drawing and permit from last year.
