Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythat this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

If these are temporary we do not have an issue with them, they do this every year. as long
as they are removed by October 6 I think it is fine. If it takes them 2 to 3 days to put
them up I don't see why then would need more than a week to remove. Thanks.

Hey Dave,
It's that time of year again for the Shootout Poker and Radar Boat Run at Jack's. They would
like to install the temporary docks again using the attached site sketch as they did last
year. This event is September 27-29 so the barge and temporary docks would be installed
around the 25th or 26th and would remain in place until after the seafood festival. The
applicant stated they would remove them by October 8th. The temporary docks would be within
the setback as they have been in the past so I am writing to get permission from your agency
before I can issue the general permit.

I sent you an email last week on this but they have requested a different layout due to a
boat poker run they are adding to the super boat race. This will require additional space due
to more boats. I told them I would ask but could not promise the navigation branches
blessing. They are willing to scale back if necessary. Please let me know as soon as you can.
