Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythatthis project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

I was finally able to receive both the "Adjacent Riparian Property Owner
Statement""and the "Agent Authorization Form" from the owners of 102 Ann Street
in Beaufort.
I am sending them along with this letter. Hopefully this is all I need to give you
before I can get Mr. Thomas Lawrence of Island Marine started on a project that
could have started a few months ago.
If you have any questions or additional suggestions, please do not hesitate to let me
know. If you could send me an email after informing me that everything has been
approved I will notify Mr. Lawrence to get in touch with you for the necessary
permits.

RE.: Additional floating dock, Gallants Channel, Beaufort.
Dear Mrs. Styron,
I sent you two "Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Statements" last week,
I had hoped to have sent you one more and an "Agent Authorization Form"
signed by Mr. Robert MacArthur of 102 Ann Street, Beaufort, NC.
Due to the fact that there seem to be some legal issues surrounding the deed to my
deep water slip on Gallants Channel, Mr. MacArthur and I have decided to wait with
signing these required forms until these legal issues have been resolved, which will
take about one month.
I am asking you to hold on to the two signed forms I have already sent you, as soon
as the two remaining forms have been signed by Mr. MacArthur I will forward them
to you and you can then hopefully go ahead with your approval for the additional
floating dock.

Dear Mrs. Styron,
I have enclosed two signed "Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Statements"
(one from Mr. Ethridge, one from Mr. Flow). The third "Adjacent Riparian Property
Owner Statement " plus "Agent Authorization Form" to be signed by Dr. Robert
McArthur of 102 Ann Street should be in the mail to you by the end of this week.
I hope that once you have received all proper forms we can go ahead with the
addition of the new floating dock to my deep water slip on Gallants Channel.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me, I will let you know
when Dr. McArthur is about to send you his documentation.
