Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythat this project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Please find enclosed our check in the amount of $200.00 for the permit
application fee for our proposed dock at 6608 Marsh Cove Road, Emerald Isle; NC.
We would like to have Ashley Brooks drive the first 16 pilings for phase one of the
project later this month.
I delivered the adjacent riparian property owner's consent forms and a sketch of
the "ramp" to your office on April 2"d, and signed the agency form authorizing
Ashley to pick up the permit. I will submit a sketch of the second phase (the pier
and dock) shortly. I did take some more accurate measurements of this section
and it appears it will -be approximately 315 feet long from the edge of the "park",
or island (as I call it), to a point in the sound parallel with the end of my neighbor's
dock immediately to the west (Harrold).
