We are aware that our lot Is narrower than normal, and as such non -conforming. However, as discussed In your office, the new structure will not encroach into the western setback, as It will simply extend northward along the line of our existing house. In addition to this, existing decks on the south and east sides of the house were approved by the Town in 2005. The new deck will not exceed the eastern set- back either. Also, when I met with you in.your office recently, you mentioned the possibility of anexemption from the LAMA process, in light of the abundant natural vegetation on our property, as well as our lotation, well away from Bbgue Sound (south of Rt. 58). As you can see in the aerial images, the only portion of our property which is impermeable in any way is the 1,326 sq. ft. foot -print of our house/decks.(rhis figure includes the 514 sq.ft. area of our actual decks, built in 2005.. Meanwhile, our lot measures 12,444 square feet.
