In an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management
Issued to Eddie Cameron Construction, Inc., authorized agent for Michael and Robin Mayer, authorizing development in
the Estuarine Shoreline (AEC) at 1412 Marsh Pointe, in Morehead City, Carteret County, North Carolina 28557, as
requested in the permittee's application, dated April 25, 2007. This permit, issued on May 15, 2007, is subject to
compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and
special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment
or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: The removal of undergrowth and addition of fill to prepare for construction up to 35' from the high water
mark.
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received on April 25, 2007.
(2) Pursuant to 15A NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed
of to a third -party.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and
mod cation of this permit.
(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 252-726-6848 x125 for a final inspection at
completion of work.

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons
within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any
vrork conducted under this permit must cease until the appeal is resolved. This
permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the
project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project
modification not covered under this permit, require further written permit
approval. KI work must cease when this permit expires on:
DECEMBER31, 2010
In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project `s consistent with the local Land
Use Plan and all app3cable ordinances. This permit may not be transferred to
another parry without the written approval of the Division of Coastal
Management.

(5) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective
sedimentation and erosion control measures. Pdorto any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth must
be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area
has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover.
(6) Prior to any development, silt fence shall be properly installed between all planned land disturbance and the
adjacent marsh and open water areas; the silt fence shall be properly maintained throughout the construction
period. Silt fence shall be installed such that it is properly toed -in to the soil.

I acknowledge that the land owner is aware than the proposed development is planned for an area which may be susceptible to
erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the local permit officer has explained to me the particular hazard problems associ-
ared with this lot. This explanation was accompanied by recommendations concerning stabilization and floodproofing tech-
niques.
