Davis NC. Storm water runoff issues do not seem to be addressed in this proposal. As in a letter dated March 1, 2006 this issue has been brought to your agencies attention with no response. The only outlet for storm water is across property owned by me. Mr. Best is not managing any storm water in any phase of development of his property. Vertical walls (bulkheads) have been erected higher in elevation than the interior portion of his development causing a bowl effect. This has created a silt basin within this property. Regarding the best corridor: If I can go by the property lines on the actual Powell survey, and overlay them onto the plat John has prepared, then I would agree with the corridors. I would also agree with the pervious survey, so you should be good to apply. Same goes for the Discovery Diving corridors. They appear to be consistent with the legal determination. My only question is where the east corridor doglegs at the end of the dock and turns 90 degrees to the channel. Is that the how we determined it for the neighboring property (because this is a joint line, it must be the same)? If you do not know, I can dig and find out. But given your more recent involvement with it, I thought you may know off of the top of your head. Ron C is the one who dealt with the adjacent property, and also would know.
