This permit, issued on 2 Q is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permitte6 to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void,
1. All proposed development and associated construction must be done in
accordance with the permitted workplat drawing (s) as originally
submitted.
2. All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building Coda
requirements and all other Local, State and Federal regulations.
3. Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land
use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this
permit.
4. In order to prevent sedimentation, a vegetated buffer zone must be
maintained between all disturbed area and the adjacent waterbody or
marsh.
5. Prior to initiating any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of
filter cloth, staked hay bales, or burlap must be installed between the
land -disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until
such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetated
cover.
6. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 1J.0406(b), this permit may not be
assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed og to a third -party.
7. No excavation or filling of any wetlands or waters is authorized undor
this permit.
B. A copy of this permit shall be available onsite. for regulatory
inspection.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per.
mit m.st cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.

with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.

05-17-05 I believe you are fully aware of my wishes concerning this tract that lies between your respective properties on the east"
and west' boundaries. According to CAMA regulations, I am required to let you know that I am submitting an application to
them concerning this tract of land that I purchased and had surveyed by George J. Brooks 11-01-58, that lies south of my farm
property, at the end of J. Bell Lane, and which borders on Bogue Sound. The intent of the application is to make sure that the
cleanup operations, and preparation of the waterfront "picnic and recreation area", (also for occasional parking of my 12'x 8'
camping trailer) will comply with CAMA regulations. Presently there is a large pile of debris which 1 have arranged to have
removed by a truck and loader. The same contractor has suggested dumping and spreading two bads of soil, to smooth out the
"Picnic area" site and allow the grass that is already there to come through and be easier to mow. The same contractor
sugested three loads of soil, to be distributed over the lowest part of the site, as a way to facilitate new growth and to add to the
natural beauty of the tract Ted Miller
the requirements that apply to the tract of land between Capt Brogden's property on the east boundary, and Miller/Murdoch
property on the west boundary. As you know, the south end of the tract borders on Hogue Sound, while the north and is an
access road leading to waterfront property along the east shore. The property on the north side of this road is the Earthwse
Farm, and residence of Ted Miller.
