This permit, Issued on:%is subject to compliance with the application and she drawling (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of those torms may subject

1. All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the
permitted workplat drawing (s) as originally submitted.
2. All construction must confbrm to the North Carolina Building Code requirements and all other
Local, State and Federal regulations.
3. Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will
require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit.
4. The amount of impervious surface areas shall not exceed 25 q of the lot area within the 575' Area
of Environmental Concern (AEC); in this case, 7850 sq. ft..
5. in order to prevent sedimentation, a vegetated buffer zone must be maintained between all
disturbed area and the adjacent waterbody or marsh. In this case a 40 foot wide buffer has been
accepted.
6. Prior to initiating any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth, staked hay bales, or
burlap must be installed between the land -disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water
areas, until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetated cover.
7. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold
or otherwise disposed of to a third -parry.
8. No excavation or filling of any wetlands or waters is authorized under this permit.
9. Property to be graded to allow all water run-off to the inland side of property. No water tun -off is
permitted to the waterway.
10. A copy of this permit shall be available onsite for regulatory inspection.

qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.

Pursuant to NCGS 113A-119(b), Carteret County, a locality authorized to issue
CAMA Permits in areas of environmental concern, hereby gives notice that on August 9,
2004, Kenneth and Kristan workman applied for a CAMA Minor permit to clear and
grade their property and construct a single-family dwelling on their property located at
103 Soundview Drive in the Bar Harbor Subdivision off Highway 24.
The application may be inspected at the address below. Public comments
received by August 19, 2004 will be considered up to the time of permit decision.
Projoct modifications may occur based on further review and upon comments. Notice of
the permit decision in this matter will be provided upon written request.
