Dear Mr. Wellons:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessity
of filing an application for a minor permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The activity you
propose is exempt from needing a minor permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below.
If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions, please contact
me before proceeding.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: According to your application, you propose to
install an 8' x 8' storage building located 65' from the normal high water mark at 509 Atlantic Beach
Causeway.
Any accessory use must be directly related to the dominant use, must = require plumbing,
electrical or other service connections, must not exceed 200 sq. ft. in area, must not be within 30' of
any permanent surface waters, and must be consistent with all applicable use standards and local
land use plans.
