We have received the information submitted to this office in your inquiry conceming the necessity of
fling an application .for a minor developnent permit under the Coastal Area Management Act The
activity you propose is exempt from neieding a minor development perm k providing It complies with
the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet
these conditions, please contact me before proceeding.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS:
Conditions: Any change in this proposal shall be reevaluated -by the LAMA Officer. A building
permit is required. Construction must be performed in accordance with the permitted work plat
originally submitted .2 �{, All construction must conform to the North Carolina Buildinc
Code requirements and all other Local, State, and Federal regulations.
IN ADDITION, THE CONDITIONS CIRCLED BELOW APPLY:
The amount of impervious surface areas shall not exceed 30% of the lot area within the 7•

1. All proposed development and associate construction must be
done in accordance with the permitted workplat drawing (s)
as originally submitted.
2. All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building
Code requirements and all other Local, state and Federal
regulations.
3. Any change or changes in the plans for development,
construction, or land use activities will require a re-
evaluation and modification of this permit.
4. The amount of impervious surface areas shall not exceed 2S%
of the lot area within the 575' Area of Environmental.
Concern (AEC); in this case, 3400 sq. ft..
S. In order to prevent sedimentation, a vegetated buffer zone
must be maintained between all disturbed area and the
adjacent waterbody or marsh. In this case a 35 foot wide
buffer has been accepted.
S. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may
not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of;
to a third -party.
7. A copy of this permit shall be available onsit:e for
regulatory inspection.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit must cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project she and accossible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.
