Issued to A.B. Cooper, Jr. . authorizing development in Atlantic Beach Estuarine Shoreline at 112 North Shore MHP Carteret County as requestedin the permittee's application, dated 11/23/04 This permit, issued on 12/16/04 is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This is a permit authorizing the construction of a 4' x 7' storage building, walkway, 4' x 4.5' open dec and a second 4' x 5.5' storage building or shower located 30' landward of the high water mark locate at 112 North Shore MHP. Any other development will require additional permits or a modification of this permit. The following conditions shall apply: All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted workplat drawing as submitted, stamped and received on December 6, 2004. This permit has been authorized because an 8' x 10' storage shed located 11.5' landward of the normal high water mark has been removed, as verified by a site visit made by Donna Turner. The impervious coverage within the 75' AEC authorized by this permit is 30 sq. ft. less than the existing impervious coverage within the 75' AEC. All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all local, state and federal regulations. Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re- evaluation and modification of this permit. In order to prevent sedimentation, a vegetated buffer zone must be maintained between all disturbed areas and the adjacent water body or marsh. Prior to initiating any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth, staked hay bales or burlap must be installed between the land -disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetated cover. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of to a third party. This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per- mit m,.st cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered under this permit requires further written permit approval.
