as authorized by the State of North Carolina, Department of Environment
and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development
in an area of environmental concern pursuant to Section 113A•118 of the
General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management."
issued to Richard and Joyce Collette . authorizing development in Beaufort,
North Carolina a1 303 Island Drive, Lot 35, Deerfield Marina, Beaufort,
N.C. as requested in the permittao'c application, dated December 29, 2003.
This permit, issued on ,January 15, 2004 , is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes setforth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
perrnittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
To convert an existing surface drainage t below grade for a distrance of
30 to 35 feet at 303 Island Drive, Lot 35, Deerfield Marina, Beaufort,
North Carolina in the AEC area of environmental concern.
The amount of :impervious surface area shall not exceed 30% of the lot area
within the 75' of the AEC (area of environmental concern).
All proposed development and associated construction must be done in
accordance with the permitted wot;kplat drawing as originally submitted on
December 29, 2003.
All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building Code
Requirements and all other Local, state and federal regulations.
Any change or changes in the plants for development, construction or land use
activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit.
Pursuant to 15 N.C.A.C., Subchapter 7J.0406 (a), this permit may not be
assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of Co a third party.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing data.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit rn ,st cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project she and accessible to the
permit officer when the project Is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.
All work must cease when this permit expires on December
31, 2007
in Issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent
with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
This permit may not be transferred to another party without
the written approval of the Division of Coastal Management.
