It has been designed to be straightforward and require no more n- = time or effort necessary from the applicant. Please go over this folder with the Local Permit Officer (LPO) for the locality in which you plan to build to be certain,that you understand what information he or she needs. Under CAMA regulations, the minor permit is to be ,- issued within 25 days once a complete application is in f hand. Often less time is needed if ,the project is simple,. The process generally takes about 18 days. You can speed the approval process by making certain that your application is complete and signed, that your drawing a- (Q meets the specifications given Jnside and that your application fee is attached: ., Other permits are sometimes required for development in the coastal area. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This permit authorizes landscaping within 575 feet of Core Sound at 132 Houseboat Inn Lane, Atlantic, North Carolina. It is contingent upon the following conditions: 1. All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building Code requirements and all other Local, State and Federal regulations. 2. Prior to initiating any land -disturbing activities, adequate sedimentation/erosion control measures must be employed to prevent the movement of unconsolidated materials into the marsh or water. These measures will remain in place until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetated cover. 3. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of to a third -party by the applicant, agent, or any entity other than the NC Division of Coastal Management. 4. No excavation or filling of any wetlands or waters is authorized under this permit. 5. The area proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the normal high water contour/normal water contour must immediately be vegetatively stabilized, and must remain in a vegetated state. 6. A copy of this permit shall be available onsite for regulatory inspection. This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per- mit m..st cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered under this permit requires further written permit approval. A466. must cease when this permit expires on December 31, In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
