The addition must be constructed with piling 16' below average original grade, or 5' below mean sea level, whichever is least. 2. All construction must be in compliance with North Carolina Building Code, and in conjunc- tion with the Town of Emerald Isle Building Inspector for compliance with the 110 mph windforce. 3. No impermeable surface by be allowed over any portion of the septic system. This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per- mit m„st cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered under this permit requires further written permit approval.
