General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management."

This permit, issued on 4/ 12/99 is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
7H.1800 BEACHBULLDOZING
1. No excavations below one (F) foot in depth are allowed;
2. AU work must be above the normal hizh water line;
3. No work is allowed outside the lateral bounds of the applicant's property without the written approval of the adjacent property
owners;
Erosion on adjacent properties shall not be increased as a result of this activity;
5. The slope shall stay effectively the same before and after this activity,
6. The work will not be allowed from May 1st to November ISth in order to protect nesting loggerhead turtles;
7. Damage to existing vegetation shall be minimized and the fill area will be replanted or temporarily stabilized until planting can be completed;
8. Work shall only be done when recent erosion has occurred and dune replenishing is necessary to protect the property;
9. Work shall be done in accordance with the approved site plan(s) submitted with the application for this permit;
10. The Local Permit OffteerBuilding Inspedor shall be notified prior to each and any beach bulldozing activity.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit must cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.
All work must cease when this permit expires on December
31, 2002
In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent
with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
This permit may not be transferred to another party without
the written approval of the Division of Coastal Management.

permit application.

plication, the ownership statement, the AEC hazard notice where necessary, a check for $50.00 made payable to
the locality, and any information as may be provided orally by the applicant. The details of the application as
described by these sources are incorporated without reference in any permit which may be issued. Deviation

mit is subject to civil, criminal and administrative action.

Pursuant to NCGS 113A-119(b), Pine Knoll Shores, a locality authorized to issue CAMA permits in Areas
of Environmental Concern, hereby gives notice that on March 30, 1999, Billy G. Coley, applied for a CAMA
permit to restore sand dunes, at 375 Salter Path Road, Pine Knoll Shores, NC. The application may be
inspected at the address below. Public comments received by April 12, 1999 will be considered. Later
comments will be accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modifications may occur
based on further review and comments. Notice of the permit decision in this matter will be.provided upon
written request.
