Beasley (owner) Gentlemen: We are the owners of the lot immediately west of the subject property and we have the following concerns about the proposed construction. 1. Fill for the 20ft. driveway. There is a low section in the property bordering the street, which fills up and stays full of water for weeks and sometimes a month during rainy periods. We understand that the plan is to fill in some 20ft. for the driveway. This will cause a displacement, which will force the water to drain and flow to our property. What will be done to prevent this? 2. Retaining wall proposed. Two years ago the former owners J. Morgan and wife erected a seawall on their property. This seawall was approved by CAMA. That wall has subsequently caused flooding on our property adjacent to the "proposed retaining wall". That flooding has caused the death of 3 live oak trees on our property. We would appreciate assurances that this flooding will be addressed satisfactorily. Now additional retaining walls are proposed adjacent to this already flood prone area. Will the "proposed retaining wall" correct this problem or cause additional flooding to our property? 3. The 200ft. Pier is a hazard to navigation. We are small boat sailors and this proposed pier, together with the huge double deck pier previously approved by CAMA on the G.Robb property west of our lot, will make it impossible to sail in or out of our property. 0 When we built our house we made no changes to the topography that could cause damage to our neighbors. We expect the same treatment from our new neighbors.
