The picnic shelter that has been proposed is permitted through this Minor CAMA Permit. All construction must be coordinated through the Town of Emerald Isle Building Inspections Department and with accordance with the 110 mph wide code of the North Carolina Building Code. This shelter must be placed no closer than 30 feet from the high water mark of Bogue Sound to prevent runoff and allow buffering of any stormwater to Bogue Sound. This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per- mit must cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered under this permit requires further written permit approval.
