post office Box 777
Lag Vegas, Nevada 89177-0777
Dear Mr. Pools
Through coordination with Mr. John Odom of John P. Mr;lean Enginsaring
Aee0ciatQ2, we have learned of your plans to construct All approximate 100 fMot__1
road crossing through wetlands in order to gain access to your lot located at
Bluewater Banks Subdivision, Lot .cumber 57, Carteret county, North Carolina.
For the purposes of the Corps of Engineers, Regulatory program, Title 33,
Code of Federal Regulations (m), Part 330, published in the Federal Rog' -star
on November 13, 1986, lists nationwide permits. Authorization was provided
for minor road crossing fill$ including all attendant features, both temporary
and permanent, that area part of a single and complete project for crossing of
a non -tidal waterbody, provided that the crossing is culverted, bridged or
otherwise designed to prevent the restriction of, and to withstand expected
high flows and provided further that diacyarges into any wetlands adjacent to
the waterbody do not extend beyond 100 feat on either side of the ordinary
high water mark of that waterbody.
Your work is authorized by nationwide permit provided it is accomplished
in strict accordance with the enclosed conditions. The nationwide permit does
not relieve you of the responsibility to obtain any required State or local
approval.
This verification will be valid until the nationwide permit is modified,
reissued, or revoked. All nationwide permits are scheduled to be modified,
reissued or revoked prior to January 13, 1992. It is incumbent upon you to
remain informsd of changes to the nationwide permits. Y1e will issue a public
notice announcing changes when they occur. Furthermore, if you commence or
are under contact to commence this activity before the data the nationwide
permit is modified or revoked, ycu will have 12 months from the date of the
modification or revocation to complete the activity under the present terms
and conditions of this nationwide permit.

To Whom It May Concern:
This is to state that I have been informed by Bluewater Associates and
Douglas Pool (owner of Lot #57 in Bluewater Banks Subdivision) that he
has applied to the County for a permit to construct a marl road crossing
and driveway across approximately 100 feet of wetlands in order to gain
access to his lot. I have no objection.
