permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
THIS PERMIT AUTHORIZES THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN ABOVE GROUND
RETAINING WALL AND INSTALL FILL NEAR RETAINING WALL. LAND
DISTURBANCE WILL TAKE PLACE LANDWARD OF COASTAL MARSH AND
APPROXIMTELY 40 FEET OFF NORMAL WATER LINE OF THE INTRACOASTAL
WATERWAY.
ANY CHANGE IN THE PLANS FOR DEVELOPMENT, CONSTRUCTION OR LAND USE
ACTIVITIES WILL REQUIRE A RE-EVALUATION AND MODIFICATION OF THIS
PERMIT.
PRIOR TO INITIATING ANY LAND-DISTRUBING ACTIVITIES, A BARRIER LINE OF
FILTER CLOTH, STAKED HAY BALES, OR BURLAP MUST BE INSTALLED BETWEEN
THE LAND -DISTURBING ACTIVITY AND THE ADJACENT MARSH OR WATER
AREAS, UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE AREA HAS BEEN PROPERLY STABILIZED WITH
A VEGETATED COVER.
FILL SHALL NOT BE USE TO ELEVATE LOT OR FOR THE ELEVATION OF ANY
FUTURE STRUCTURES.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit m,.st cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.

In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent
with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
This permit may not be transferred to another party without

FOR DEVELOPERS IN OCEAN HAZARD AND ESTUARINE HAZARD AREAS:
I acknowledge that the land owner is aware that the proposed development is planned for an area which may
be susceptible to erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the local permit officer has explained to me the
particular hazard problems associated with this lot. This explanation was accompanied by recommendations
concerning stabilization and floodproofing techniques.
PERMISSION TO ENTER ON LAND
I furthermore certify that I am authorized to grant and do in fact grant permission to the local permit officer
and his agents to enter on the aforementioned lands in connection with evaluating information related to this
permit application.
This application includes: general information (this form), a site drawing as described on the back of this ap-
plication, the ownership statement, the AEC hazard notice where necessary, a check for $50.00 made payable to
the locality, and any information as may be provided orally by the applicant. The details of the application as
described by these sources are incorporated without reference in any permit which may be issued. Deviation
from these details will constitute a violation of any permit. Any person developing in an AEC without a per-
mit is subject to civil, criminal d administrative action.

CAMA PERMIT NOTICE
Pursuant to NCGS 113a-119(b), Onslow County, a locality authrized to issue CAMA
Permits in areas of environmental concern, hereby gives NOTICE that on June 22, 2006
Keith Buckhold applied for a CAMA permit to construct an above ground seawall and
install fill near seawall. Land disturbance will take place approximately 40' off the
normal water line of The Intracoastal Waterway. Property is located at 130 Ned Lane,
Venice View S/D, Swansboro. Application may be inspected at the address below. Public
Comments received by July 9, 2006 will be considered. Later comments will be
accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. The aforementioned project
is within an area of Environmental concern. Project modifications may occur based on
further review and comments. Notice of the Permit decision in this matter will be
provided upon written request.

An applicant must complete and submit a separate State Application for Employment form (PD-107), listing the
position number and job title for the position applied for. DENR uses the Merit -Based Recruitment and Selection
Plan to fill positions subject to the State Personnel Act with most qualified individuals. Resumes will not be
accepted in lieu of a State Application for Employment (PD-107). Original application, signed and dated must be
mailed to the contact person listed. Applicants seeking Veteran's Preference for first-time employment with State
Government should submit a copy of Form DD-214. All relevant experience must be listed on the PD-107
application form to receive proper credit; any information omitted from the application form cannot be considered
