RE: Exempted Project No. 1671
Dear Mr. Burt:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The project
you propose, as submitted, is exempt from needing a minor development
permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact
this office before proceeding.
Proposed project and location described as: Construction of a pier
6' x 16' and 4' x 126' at your property off SR 1005 on Kershaw Creek in
Pamlico County, N.C.
This certification of exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor Permit
is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following expir-
ation, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
Prior to beginning the project, a building permit is required. If you
have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
Sincerely,
Claude Spellman
