This permit, issued on November 14, 2006, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. This permit authorizes: Construct a 2,000 sq. ft. single-family residence within 75' of NHW (1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat drawings(s) dated received on October 16, 2006. (2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations, applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations. (3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit. (4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 252745-3861 for a final inspection at completion of work. (Additional Permit Conditions on Page 2) This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this permit must cease until the appeal is resolved. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. Any maintenance work or project modification not covered under this permit, require further written permit approval. All work must cease when this permit expires on: DECEMBER 31, 2009 In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances. This permit may not be transferred to another party without the written approval of the Division of Coastal Management. (6) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth must be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover. (7) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction completion. Applicant is requesting that the home envelope be allowed to extend Into the AEC commencing 50' from the waterfront, and ending 75' from the waterfront. It is anticipated that the maximum sf of such infringement would be no more than 80' x 2 �j+��j11, approx 2000 sf (the more likely infringement would probably be IF? Landward limit of AEC would be 75' line, as shown on drawing 10. The lot is flat, with some trees, wax myrtles, and mostly residential grass 11. The area to be disturbed is marked in yellow on the drawing and is approx 25' x 80' 12. The home would be in the current home site, as well as some infringement into the.60' to 76' setback area. I would estimate the Infringement to be approx 60' x 20', but could be as much as 25' x 80' 13. The driveway would rtln on the west side of the lot, from Arant Farm Rd to the home site 14. The compostion of the surface is topsoil and gravel (hardpack access road thru the property is dirt and gravel) 15. At this time a few pine trees would be cut to make room for the homesite (see picture); less than 10 trees 16.
