Dear Mr. Johnston:
We have received your proposal for development regulated by the Coastal Area Management
Act (CAMA). The activity that you propose is exempt from needing a Minor Development
Permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and
your project will no longer meet these conditions, please contact our office before proceeding.
The project is described as follows: Type AEC: E/W Use: R
Construction of a 580 Sq. Ft pier (5' x 96' with a 3' x 20' " T" located at Lot 17 Forest Shores
Estates off of SR 1321 and adjacent to Broad Creek in Pamlico County, North Carolina..

signatures. The forms are then retumed, along With a building plan and other applicable required information, to the Building
Inspections Office for building permit application/processing.
