Tester Rt. 2, Box 91 Hardy North Carolina 24101 Exempted Project No: 1733 Dear Mr. Tester: We have reviewed the,information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not require a minor development permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact this office before proceeding. Proposed project and location is.described as: A single- family residential dwelling including a deck and garage on your property of Lot #2 in the Fork Point Subdivision off SR1321 on Brown Creek in Pamlico County, N. C. This Certification of Exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor Permit is valid for ninety days from the date of issuance - applies ONLY to exemptions for piers, docks, and decks pursuant to 15A NCAC 7K .0203 and NOT for single family dwellings. Following expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to renew this certification. Prior to beginning the project a building permit is required If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
